Barry & Laura Kerrr

August 2018 release of this duet album of fiddle and mainly flute.

   Siblings from Co. Armagh , their music demonstrates a close, tight musical relationship that only comes with constant playing and shared development over the years.

  Their parents owned a pub in Lurgan and their formative years were spent listening to the greats of traditional Irish music there where a folk venue formed. Laura recounted a story of her rushing home from school one day to find Paddy Keenan asleep in her bed and  this story was told with adolescent exuberance for a long time after.

  Laura now lives in Corca Dhuibhne in west Kerry and her brother in Dublin so many more nights of tunes together despite the geographical dislocation.
