Clara Buteler

Clara has been in Ennis for the last five years and has established herself on the session scene here in that short space of time.

   She hails from Patagonia in Argentina and is very proud of her Irish heritage where her ancestors hailed from Kilkenny and emigrated in the 17th Century. The Butlers of Ormond were a powerful fuedal family and Clara traces her lineage back to this noble tribe.

   October 2019 finds her releasing her first singing album with her Spanish guitar and her voice has a divine mix of her Irishness and her Italian, Latin background .

  Her songs reflect this binary history and are thus in Spanish and English(5 and 6).

  Guest musicians include Jon O' Connell on double bass,Adam Shapiro on fiddle and Dermot Byrne on accordion and all the pieces brought together by Eoin O' Neill producing.
