Emmett Gill

Emmett Gill is a fine young piper who started playing pipes in 1983 and was taught at the Irish Centre in Camden,London,with great encouragement from his parents who are regular visitors to us here at Custy's.

The cd was recorded in 2007 by his friend,John Blake at his home in Cloughbrack,Co. Galway.

He has a great interest in uilleann pipe,fiddle and flute music from the 78 RPM era and has produced two recording of Irish music from the 1920's to 1940's under the Oldtime Records label.
