Hughie Gillespie & Frank Kelly

July 2021 release of a live recording in Hughie Gillespie's house ( which he bought in 1964 after he returned from New York after having emigrated there in 1928) in 1967 by Geordie McIntyre and expertly sound restored and mastered by John Blake.

  Hughie had established himself as one of the most distinguished Irish fiddle players of the gramaphone era where he came under the tutelage of Michael Coleman and on his return to Ballybofey in 1964, he ,in turn, took Frank under his care until his death in 1986.
