Go Home And Have Your Dinner

Jimmy Power was born in Ballyduff in Co. Waterford in 1918.

He arrived in London in 1947 before it had taken off as an amazing centre of Irish music and played as much as possible and in the late 5o's and 60's played with the greats including Mairtin Byrnes, Bobby Casey and Junior Crehan.

His exposure to Michael Gorman improved his technique and repetoire and he took his place amongst the greats in a thriving music scene in London.
