Willie was in Ireland last week (24th Jan, 2025) with his wife, Siobhán and son Joe who was taking part in the Seán Ó Riada Bonn Óir competition for pipes.
He came bearing gifts, not of Gold, Frankincense and Myrrh but copies of his legendary recording with Mike Rafferty which we had been without for too many years.
Music of such integrity and rawness which has rarely been equalled.
