Antoin MacGabhann with Charlie Lennon

Antoin MacGabhann is a legendary character in traditional Irish music. Born in Cavan and domiciled in Co. Meath, he is always most at ease playing and performing outdoors to the masses.

Regulary situated in doorways and on Windowsills, he is a refreshing sight anually at the Willie Clancy Summer School Festival in the company of Mick O' Connor from London and Marcus O Murchu.

This September 2015 release, his third, I think,elevates him to a hallowed place in traditional Irish music which he undoubtedly deserves.
