Paul Smyth

Paul Smyth's second flute release arrived onto the shelves here in mid July , twelve years after the launch of his maiden album,  Up And Away.

Paul hails from Cill Mobhi in Mayo and his early playing was influenced by  Peter Horan.

He is drawn to Mike Rafferty and the east Galway flute style and his playing is characterised by this simple richness and beautiful easy rhythm.
