I passed Brendan outside Friel's Pub in Miltown Malbay during Willie Week 2024 , sitting on the windowsill playing entrancing flute music in the company of an older man. It brought back memories of Antóin Mac Gabhann and Mick O' Connor with their "Doorways and Windowsills " release.
Three days later, he arrived into the shop with his new release and explained that he was warming the flute up before his appearance on Radio na Gaeltachta's Roadie with Neansaí.
