Tommie Potts

I profess to knowing very little about this great musician venerated by the  families of the  Dublin traditional Irish musical fraternity but on my initial perusal of this passionate publication by Tommie's grand-nephew, Seán Potts, the descriptions of him as "non-conformist" and "musical deviant" immediately entrap my attention and draw me inexorably towards discovering more about this colossus of traditional music and the vagaries and idiosyncrasies that in a sense isolated him from his peers but lauded by the generations who followed.
