Liam dropped his maiden solo cd into the shop early on 30th June,2017, the eve of the official opening of the Willie Clancy Summer School,an event beloved to him.
What an opening track - a slow air titled Bonnie Blue Eyed Nancy,played with raw emotion and an empathy beyond his youth.
This track epitomises who he is and the great qualities he possesses - gentle disposition,at ease with who he is,a natural,unforced friendly air which is all-embracing.
His music and indeed his teaching is all about sharing , encouraging and nurturing and his influence on a younger generation of players is immense.
Apart from his gifted music, the abiding memory of him at any session is his hearty ,envelopping laugh.
