Quite frightening to learn that 10 years have passed since the release of "The Shores of Lough Breda" with all of Paddy O' Donoghue's compositions.
Elaine called into the shop in mid May,2025 with a box of their new musical delight and I asked the reasoning behind this second recording and her answer was brief, certain and beautifully honest - "I miss playing with Sheila".
A spattering of their own compositions with sprinklings of tried and tested traditional tunes and some from Michael Dwyer, Junior Crehan, Seán Ryan and Seamus Connolly.
