Sylvia Crawford

An Introduction to Old Irish Harp Playing Techniques

The ten harpers who convened in 1792 for the Belfast Harp Festival would , I'm sure, appreciate the efforts Sylvia has gone to to produce this book of note.

The raison d'etre for the Belfast Festival was the preservation of the music of the ancient harping tradition and this publication will facilitate its continuation into the next generation of players and with the harp recognized as peculiarly Irish by UNESCO, isn't it only right and proper that such  learning aids are freely available.
